AgRail is located near the southern end of the Union Pacific railyard in
Bloomington, Illinois. This allows us to channel semi traffic along
Illinois Route 9 with minimal use of side streets. Because of weight
restrictions, a certain route to AgRail is used so that semis will remain on
the class three truck route. At all times remain on this route.
From the West
1. Take Illinois Route 9 east into Bloomington.
2. Follow the signs for Route 9 until you come to a bridge, but do not
cross it.
3. Turn left and go one block north on Morris (this is the last left turn
before the bridge)
4. Turn right and go one block on Chestnut, following the curve.
5. Take the first gravel lane you see and pull onto the scale with your
truck facing to the west.
From the East
1. Take Illinois Route 9 west into Bloomington.
2. Follow the signs for Route 9 until you go over the rail yard bridge.
3. Turn right and go one block north on Morris (this is the first right
turn after the bridge)
4. Turn right and go one block on Chestnut, following the curve.
5. Take the first gravel lane you see and pull onto the scale with your
truck facing to the west.
